11th DAFFODIL DAY LUNCHEON
Wednesday, April 15, 2020
Eleven years ago, the goal of the first Daffodil Day Luncheon was to plant 700,000 daffodils on Belle Isle, one for every resident of Detroit. Having met our first goal in 2017, we reorganized into Daffodils4Detroit. Our new goal is to plant four million daffodils in the metro Detroit area, one for every metro resident. The Daffodil Day Luncheon, at the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle State Park, is the major D4D fundraiser. All funds raised will be used to plant bulbs and maintain previous plantings.
Special Note from Robin Heller
Underwriting donations will be a key to our continued success. The three contribution levels are: Trumpeter ($500-$999), Golden Long ($1000-$4,999) and Double Golden ($5,000 plus). Please consider one of these levels for yourself, for your branch, for businesses you patronize, or for a shared gift from members of your family or a group of friends. Thank you for your continuing support.
