Daffodils4Detroit Artist of Year 2023
Judy Duffy of Little Cottage Design
Judy enjoyed a career in the business of high end cosmetics and fragrances, working for Fabergé, Caron Perfumes, Nina Ricci, and Channel. Job perks included frequent trips to Paris and a memorable lunch with Cary Grant.
She eventually decided to start her own business and opened a shop called Little Cottage Design in Harbor Springs, Michigan. She provided designer home goods and gifts to the summer community. Family matters called her back to the Detroit area.
Now, she does Little Cottage Design as a “pop up” boutique in speciality shows such as the recent Junior League Designer Show House and the St. Paul Holiday Boutique at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. She will be bringing a wide array of merchandise including a specially curated daffodil collection. You may preview her collection on her FaceBook page

Rachel Lutz
The Peacock Room
Shopping at The Peacock Room is like, “stepping back in time to the glitzy days of Old Hudson’s and downtown Detroit”.
Rachel's shop has two locations, the flagship store in the Fisher Building and the store in the Park Shelton, across the street from the Detroit Institute of Arts.
She will bring us a botanically themed collection of vintage and new accessories ranging from tiaras and opera shawls to hats and white gloves.
Many of the hats worn by Daffodil Day guests were purchased from The Peacock Room. Rachel's curated collection will give you the opportunity to purchase your own stylish chapeau.
A generous portion of sales will be donated to Daffodils4Detroit. .

Laurie Tennent owner of Tennent Botanicals
Laurie Tennent was artist of the year two years ago.
In 2021, the pandemic caused us to have an on-line Daffodil4Detroit event. A virtual tour of "Daffodils in Detroit" was available and Daffodils4Detroit merchandise was available on-line.
At that time, Laurie created a special Belle Isle Collection for Daffodils4Detroit that was originally only available on-line. Many items are still available on her website. In 2022, she joined other venders at Daffodil Day.
This year you have the opportunity to purchase items from Laurie’s Belle Isle Collection and works of art from Laurie Tennent Botanicals in person at Daffodil Day.
A generous portion of sales will be donated to Daffodils4Detroit.
